What’s not included — said out loud
Online shops with baskets and card payments are a bigger job; we’ll quote those separately and honestly. Logos and full rebrands aren’t in the price either — but we’ll make what you have look its best.
It’s yours, properly
The domain is registered in your name and the site belongs to you. No lock-in, no hostage-taking: leave whenever you like and take everything with you.
After launch
Nothing else to pay unless you want us on call. Our care plan — updates, tweaks, and a human who answers — is £19 a month, optional, cancel any month.
How it works
Three weeks, four steps, no jargon.
-
Day 1
Say hello
Email a few lines about your business. We reply within one working day and set up a half-hour phone call — plain English, no obligation, no “synergy”.
-
Week 1
See your homepage first
We design the real thing, not sketches or mood boards. Love it, and we carry on. Don’t, and your deposit comes straight back.
-
Week 2
We build the rest
Pages, words, photos arranged properly. You keep doing your job; we send progress you can look at on your phone.
-
Week 3
You go live
Domain, hosting and Google all set up. We walk you through it, then stay around for two rounds of changes in your first month.
Straight answers
The questions you’re right to ask.
An agency quoted me £3,000. Why are you £495?
Because we do one thing, the same way, many times — a five-page site for a small business — and we don’t carry an office, account managers or a pitch team on your bill. The scope is smaller than an agency project. The care isn’t.
Why shouldn’t I just use Wix, or my cousin who knows WordPress?
Honestly? If you have spare evenings and a good eye, a site builder can work. Most owners we meet started one, got as far as picking a template, and it’s been “nearly done” for a year.
And your cousin might be brilliant — until he gets busy. You’d be his favour; you’re our job. We’re contractually obliged to finish, on a date, with your deposit protected.
What if I pay and you disappear?
It’s the story we hear most, and it’s why the terms are built the way they are: you pay £245 to start, you see your homepage inside a week, and you don’t pay the rest until you’ve signed off the finished site. If we ever went quiet on you, you’d be out nothing but the deposit — and you get that back if you don’t like the first design.
What happens after it’s live?
It keeps working. Hosting is included for a year (about £60 a year after — we remind you before it renews, no silent charges). Everything is registered in your name, so you can walk away with the whole site any time. If you want changes down the line, the optional care plan is £19 a month, or we quote small jobs individually.
Can you do online bookings, or a shop?
Shops we already take on — they’re quoted separately because baskets and payments are genuinely more work, and we’d rather price that honestly than fold it into everyone’s bill. Bookings and appointments are next on our list (see below). If you need one now, write to us anyway — if we’re not the right fit yet, we’ll point you somewhere honest.
Where this is going
Websites are where we start, not where we stop.
Floreat means let it flourish. The plan is to be the one digital partner a small business needs — added one service at a time, only once we can do it properly. Growing next:
- Online bookings and appointments
- Email at your own domain, not gmail-dot-com
- Being found on Google for what you do, not just your name
- Taking payments online, without a full shop
Need one of these today? Write anyway — we’ll tell you plainly whether we’re ready, and recommend someone decent if we’re not.
Get in touch
Tell us about your business.
A few lines is plenty: what you do, where you are, and whether you’ve got anything online today — even if it’s just an Instagram page. No forms, no “discovery calls”, just email.
